About our funded training

At Construction Helpline we offer free, Government funded construction training, giving people the opportunity to build up sector-specific skills and fast-track to an interview with an employer.

All our construction training courses are fully funded and are free for learners. If you’re looking to upskill or reskill within a specific area in the construction industry, then our funded construction training could be the perfect choice for you.

We encourage applications from underrepresented groups within construction for example those from the BAME community and women, of which there is still a very low percentage when compared with other industries.

Free Funded Employer Program

If you are an employer looking for construction workers:
  • Based in the South East (London), Buckinghamshire or North West (Liverpool) areas that have vacancies for tradespeople in those regions
  • Are happy to offer a 2 week work trial on completion of the Bootcamp
  • Can provide an interview at the end of the work trial for a term of no less than 12 weeks

FAQs for Funded Training

With the industry facing a skills gap, there is an increased demand for newly skilled workers across the UK. Our mission is to help provide a stream of newly skilled and qualified workers to meet this demand.
Our training is held across the UK, we currently have places in several programs including London, Liverpool & Buckinghmshire. We have new ones being added every month, please enquire here [email protected]
Candidates can already work on construction sites or run their own small teams/projects and wish to expand into the commercial construction sector requiring CSCS recognition.
Our start dates vary dependent on location and trade, once you have passed eligibility checks with our team, you will be informed of the next training start date.
NVQ completion is dependent on the experience level of the learner, but it is expected that it will be on average 10 weeks for level 2 NVQs, 12 weeks for Level 3 NVQs and 14 weeks for level 4 NVQs.
